FRANKIE WHITE AND THE DEAD IDOLS

This is a band that I have known about and have wanted to see for a while now, so I was pretty pumped when I found out that FWDI had been added to the list to open for Finger Eleven at the ModClub last week. Hot off the stage at the ACC, where they opened up for BON JOVI, Frankie and the boys kicked some serious ass.

Frankie is one awesome rocker chick. She says "When people ask me what our music sounds like, I usually say "like modern Joan Jett'ish, but bigger sounding like Buckcherry... if Buckcherry wrote songs in the vain of Springsteen/Bon Jovi.. and if Bruce Springsteen/Bon Jovi were musically wrapped up into one person... and if that person was a chick, you know?"  She sums it up pretty well. From the second she took the stage, all eyes were on her. 

If you have not yet heard of Frankie White and the Dead Idols.. keep an eye and an ear out...with a lead chick like that, they are bound for greatness !
