The last stop of the night on Day One of Canadian Music Week was a small, yet awesome bar on Bathurst Street called Cherry Colas to see the one and only
MONDAY ROSE.
If you have never seen the awesomeness that is this band.. put them on your "MUST SEE" List of 2011.. ( They have a huge show coming up at the MODclub on May 11th -> INFO HERE)
Fronted by ARi Lyon, this Monday Rose embodies everything that true rock and roll should be. Entertaining, its pretty much impossible to take your eyes off ARi as he dances, you never know where he is gonna end up or what he is gonna do next (aka running into the crowd and bringing a lucky girl on stage)
Not only is Monday Rose entertaining, ARi, Randy, Matt and Nick, are truly a GOOD band. Good Tunes, Good Songs. If any Toronto rock band is gonna make it, its these guys!
I caught up with ARi during CMW to talk about Music, Nikki Sixx and what it is like to see a Monday Rose show.
