Due to the awesomeness of someone very special in my life, I not only was lucky enough to see the Foos in Toronto, I got to see them again, just over the boarder in Buffalo.
It was a gorgeous day, and the perfect day to see one of the most perfect rock bands. I don't know what it is about the Foo Fighters, but they are hands down one of my all time favourite bands to see live.
From the second Dave Grohl appeared on stage, he commanded attention. The talent that man has and the knowledge and presence that he brings to the stage is awe-inspiring. After having seen them play in Toronto in August, it was kinda weird to see the difference in the crowds in the US. Yes, it is just over the boarder, but its so different as far as shows are concerned. in Toronto, there was so many people they opened up behind the stage and allowed the fans to sit back there whereas in Buffalo, even the back rows of the balcony were empty. It pretty much just goes to show that Canadian Fans are the best.
The highlight of the show for me, was the encore. Dave Grohl was at the end of the catwalk, back near the back of the floor. Then lifted up high above the crowd on a platform, just him and his guitar, singing "Best Of You". Its those moments. Those moments where nothing else in the world matters but enjoying the moment you are in.
If your a fan of music, please, go see a Foo Fighters concert. Just Do It.
