I will be the first to say that I am pretty much obsessed with FloRida as of lately. His songs are seriously insanely catchy, and if your not also obsessed with "Wild Ones", then your legit crazyyyyy. Needless to say, from the second he came out on the stage dressed in a red race car suit with his microphone stand that says "Flo", I was won over. Backed by a full band, dancers and a killer female vocalist, he pretty much killed it. Flo is a total showman, and he knows how to get a crowd into it. He did everything from walk through the crowd, go through the crowd on securities shoulders, get down in the floor and dance, strip to just his pants, pour champagne all over himself and the crowd, and even bring a ton of girls on stage. He had the venue dancing his whole set and I honestly think that he should have been the headliner. Flo- Come back to Toronto soon and please headline.
up next was Pitbull and he turned the Ricoh Coliseum into a light show dance party club thing. I love pretty much every song that Pitbull has attached himself too in the last few years, but I was not sure how he would perform most of his tunes without his many collaborators. Most of them, such as Enrique, Marc Anthony and Chris Brown, made an appearance on the massive screen that made up for the backdop of the stage, with Pitbull singing/rapping his parts. He spent way more time and put great energy into his spanish songs, which was great, but next time.. I feel like he is more a festival act, where he could actually get on stage with all of the people he has worked with. I feel like this would make for a much better show.
Overall, it was a great show for people who just wanna dance and I had a blast! Thanks to Warner Canada for the tickets!!!
