No rain, not even a huge flood that shut down the city of Toronto on this night could keep me away from getting to the Phoenix Concert Theatre to see my favourite artist, Andrew McMahon perform a solo show. My love for this man is beyond something I can even describe, but just to put it in perspective for people who don't know me... I have his lyrics tattooed on my arm. I have listened to him throughout the days of Something Corporate, stayed with him through Jacks Mannequin and I currently have his solo EP on repeat on my ipod. His music tells stories, I can connect with it in a way I have never connected with somebodies lyrics before and honeslty, Andrew McMahon is my musical hero. His solo show consisted of everything fro his musical background, including all my fave songs, such as "Punk Rock Princess" and "Swim", For me the hands down best part of the entire set was when Andrew started into the first few notes of "Konstantine". This 9 minute song has been my favourite song since I was in highschool, so being able to hear it live, is pretty much the best thing ever.
