WARPED TOUR RECAP: The Used

I LOVE THE USED.  That pretty much sums everything up last year.  If you didn't know, due to lead singer Bert having some "issues", The Used have not played a show in Toronto for quite some time, so needless to say, I was skeptical this year when I saw their name on the Toronto date for Warped. Last year they were on the date, yet did not make it into the country, upsetting many fans.  This was their comeback to Canada and the fans, old and new were out in full force. Their short, but sweet set was spot on, and Bert was spot on, and actually had a huge smile on his face the whole performance. I was in heaven, thinking back to when I used to have "Taste of Ink" and "Blue and Yellow" on repeat and listened to The Used pretty much everyday. This is one of the reasons I continue to attend Warped Tour every year, even though I am now in the "older" crowd of fans. Every year they bring up a band, that I have listened to for years and love to death, that I never got to see back in my High School days. This year, The Used brought everything to the stage and made me a seriously happy girl.  Now that they are putting out a new album, and are back and better then ever, I am hoping they are back in Toronto soon, and playing much longer then 25 minutes. I will be there, and it will be amazing. The Used was the perfect end to my crazy day at this summers WARPED TOUR and I am already looking forward to seeing what next years tour brings...
