It has been 9 years since Hedley played their very first show in Toronto, at the 360 on Queen West and for those past 9 years, I have been there. I remember that show, I was late, I ran to make sure I would see at least a few songs, and I ended up dancing on stage for some unknown reason, surrounded by people I love. Hedley, aka Jake, Tommy, Chris and Dave, have been a constant in my life since that show. I have been there, I have seen them more times then I can count, in venues all over the GTA. I have watched them grow as artists, musicians and as people, and I am beyond proud. I have known Jake since he came in 3rd on Canadian Idol, and he has become hands down one of the most talented performers in Canada. His voice is amazing, his showmanship is outstanding and everytime I see Hedley play, I am proud. I consider myself more then a fan of these 4 talented men from British Columbia. There isn't many words I can use to describe the affect these boys have had on my life in the past 9 years. I have gown up to their music, because of them, I have made memories and friends that have changed my life. I can put on their first album and remember exactly where I was the first time I heard it and I can relate to the lyrics in the music they make. They are playing a special show this summer at the Molson Ampitheatre on August 20th, and tickets officially go onsale tomorrow. I for one, already have my tickets.. so hopefully I will see you there ! for now, check out the photos from the show at the Air Canada Centre!
