Simple Plan headlines OneXOne and it is Awesome.

I first saw Simple Plan play 13 years ago. I remember it so clearly. It was before the Pop Disaster tour at the Molson Ampitheatre, and some nice french dude asked me if I had ever heard of a band named Simple Plan, I said no and he handed me a flyer and told me to check them out on a little side stage before the show started.  I wandered over so this little wooden stage and a small crowd had gathered to see this band play. They sang just a few songs, including "Im just a kid" and I remember looking and noticing the same person who had given me that flyer, was also playing the Drums. It was Chuck Comeau, the dummer of Simple Plan.  After the show I met the rest of the band.. and ever since then, I have been a fan of Simple Plan.  I have seen them play so many times, and its a love that will never die. I was so excited to see them play at OneXOne and even more excited because I won the tickets through the band. I had a blast, down in the front dancing and singing like I was 15 years old again. Theres always bands that come and go in your life, but for me, certain bands stick around, they never get old and their music stays with you. The second they start to sing that song you remember, your back in that place and you remember that moment where you were when you first heard it. That is how it will always be with these boys, so as long as they keep making music, I will be there.   Check out the photos from the performance !
