When I found out that I would be seeing GOB at Lachie Music Festival... I will be the first to admit, I fangirled a bit. I LOVED this band in HighSchool. I remember going to see them in an interview at the Edge Studios and getting photos with Theo and Tom after, I also remember seeing them on Warped Tour and playing with Simple Plan at the Kool Haus. I used to listen to their album "Foot in Mouth Disease" on repeat, and their single "I hear You Calling" has pretty much been on my ipod, since ipods became a thing. The boys are back, and with a new album "Apt. 13" coming out August 26th... be pumped.. and get ready to relive your teenage years !! Their show at Lachie made me a very happy girl. I danced my butt off to all the songs I loved from back in the day, such as Give Up the Grudge, and of course, "I Hear You Calling". The guys will be going on tour in the fall to support the new album and will be stopping pretty much everywhere.. including Hamilton ! So keep an eye and ear out for the new album and the new tour !!! If you are a fan, and you didn't make it out this past weekend, you missed out ! Check out the pics !
