The BILLY TALENT Boys

Once in a while there is a band that I just love. I have been seeing Billy Talent play ever since they came out with "Try Honesty" when I was in High School. The 1st time I met them was at "Strings Attached" in Mississauga. I haven't missed a Toronto show of theirs, well ever. I have more pictures with them and autographs of theirs then I can count.

Ben, Ian, Aaron and Jon are some of the most down to earth, and sweetist dudes in the music biz. I was lucky enough to get some last minute tickets to their show at the Air Canada Centre this past weekend. I would have bought tickets well in advance, but since I havent really been working much, I was pretty much broke. This was a show that I would have been upset to miss, so a HUGE thanks to Micheal at Warner Music for hooking me up!

Billy Talent is a band that never dissappoints when it comes to the live show. Frontman Ben has an energy that is hard to match. He just seems to insanely excited everytime he hits the stage, and you can tell that he is SO thankful for every single person who goes out to see a Billy Talent show.

The stage set up was simple, starting out with a simple black backdrop, letting the lights shine on the band, about halfway through the show the black fell and the BILLY TALENT banner made the crowd freakkkkk out!
Ben also brought up the "best gold metal ever" as he proudly held up a Crosby Jersey, and at one point got pretty much everyone in the ACC to hold up their phones/lighters, which made for quite the sight!

Overall, fantastic show!!! Cannot wait till the next time!

  1. my favourite part about this is how you start by saying, "Once in a while there is a band that I just love". Jenny, I don't think that there is a band that you don't love. You start almost every post with how much you love every band that you see. You're funny. I love you. xoxox Meaghan
