Kicking off CMW night one
I ended up a Tattoo Rock Parlour on Queen West, its one of my fave bars/venues in the city, so it seemed like a great choice to check up some up and coming acts
It was the Disband showcase. Disband is a show on muchmusic that takes bands, makes them practice a song, do a photoshoot etc, then perform infront of a bunch of "industry experts" and then told if they have what it takes, or if they should "disband".
Anywhooos. These guys were told they have what it takes, and if I remember correctly they now have a record deal.
All in all, they were pretty good. I think they have a long way to go to reach their potential and they did seem a tad nervous on stage.
Keep a watch out for them tho, as they do have potential.
