It was the last day (well for me anyway) of Canadian Music Week 2010, and I couldnt have been more excited for a show. For people who have seen a show at the Historic Massey Hall, then you know what I am talking about. The Venue is beautiful and the Sound is unbeatable. It was the 2nd night of the two that Canadian Legends OUR LADY PEACE, were playing in Toronto. Being a Media Pass holder, ment that I got to go to the show for free.... can't really go wrong with 10th row floors for FREE.
The guys played two sets at the show. The 1st half of the show consisted of Raine and the boys singing the Album "Spiritual Machines" from Start till Finish. This is one OLP Album that I wasn't totally famillar with, but when they sang "Life" I pretty much died. It is by far one of my favourite Our Lady Peace Songs, and I actually got Goosebumps!!!
After they finished the album, the guys came back out and did another set full of their hits! The crowd was amazing and you could tell how much the guys love their fans and all the support! Finally Raine called everyone up to the front of the stage and everyone just RAN. You could feel the excitement in the venue! Near the end of the show Raine decided that he was going to climb up the speakers and into the balcony and dance with the fans up there. One chick was crazyyy and he was totally having a blast!
YES! I was at the show on the 13th. Definitley one of the most fufilling shows Ive been too in a long time. And Ive been to ALOT of shows haha Glad someone else loved it as much as I did. haha ps, im no blog lurker, I found the link to this blog through a post you did on USS's wall on facebook haha =)
