first off, I am way behind on my updating as school/shows/stress have been taking over my life for the past week.. but the good news is, school is almost done so I will try to keep on top of things!
Last week when I was at the Hard Rock, I had the chance to see a band called "MicLordz & Sauce Funky" play. To be honest, when they came out on stage... my assumption was that I wouldnt be a fan.... there was a guy in Leather Pants with Long Hair and a rapper dude and I didnt know what sound they were going to produce.
When they started into their first song I must say that I was kinda surprised. They were insanely energetic and looked like they were having a blast onstage. The mix of Hip Hop with Rock seemed effortless and I actually enjoyed their performance. Its totally a sound that I havent heard in a while, and not to mention that the lead singer is insanely nice on the eyes!
It wasnt a surprise to me that they won the night and will be moving onto the Finals in the Ambassadors of Rock compeition at the Hard Rock for a chance to perform in London England!
if you live in Toronto and Have the chance, head down to the Hard Rock Cafe on April 28th and cheer them on at the finals!
