THE SMASHING PUMPKINS!

aka, BILLY CORGAN.

Really, now when it comes to the Smashing Pumpkins, I cant even call them the Pumpkins, as it is really only Billy. So I am gonna call this concert, "Billy Corgan is amazing and has a backup band on stage with him".

ANYWHOS.

I saw the Pumpkins back at Virgin Festival about 3 years ago, and it may have been the fact that I was squished in a crowd and couldn't move, but I wasn't overly blown away by them. This time however, Billy Corgans voice actually gave me goosebumps. The venue, House Of Blues, in Cleveland Ohio, was very small. I was about 10 feet away from the stage, at most and I thought that it was the perfect venue to see a band like that play in. Back in the 1990s, the Smashing Pumpkins were one of the biggest bands in the world and I am SO lucky to get to see Billy play in a intimate venue. I honestly think it was the perfect setting to hear those songs played.

I heard a rumor that this tour is the last tour that Billy and the Pumpkins will be performing the old songs live, so I am SO lucky that I got to see this tour.   Billy Corgan is no doubt one of the most talented musicians out there, and I could tell that he genuinely loves what he does and loves his fans. I lost count of the times that he thanked the crowd.

Overall, I had a fantastic time. The venue was WAY to hot for the average person, and add that to the 35 degrees outside... it was nice of them to give out free water!

Even tho it was requested that no photos were taken... I did manage to get a few!
