Backstreets Back ! Aiight!

Its been 12 years since I first saw the Backstreet Boys take the stage. That was half my lifetime ago. I am now 24 years old and Nick Carter STILL makes me Scream like a 12 year old girl. Currently on the "This Is Us" Tour, the Backstreet Boys can still fill large venues, and they still have the dance moves and the ballads that make the girls swoon.

I grew up listening to BSB, I had over 500 photos and posters of them on my walls, I own every album, single and movie put out by them.. my teenage years WERE the Backstreet Boys. When  I was 18 years old I waited outside their hotel for days, ran past security, slept on the streets, just to meet my musical idols.

Gone are the days of Chair dances, huge elaborate stages and 5 piece harmonies. A lone DJ in the center of a stage,  flanked by staircases  and one big screen is all that is left on the Backstreet Boys Stage. The endless costume changes are now minimal. oh yah.. and now there are only 4 Backstreet Boys.

I was the closest I have ever been for a BSB show on August 14 at the Molson Ampitheatre (7th row on the floor), The Boys, I guess Men of the Backstreet Boys, still to this day, try to put on the best show possible for their fans. They put everything they have into their stage show and You can tell that they are so genuine in the love that they have for their fans. They did a 2 hour set of both old favourites (starting with "Everybody (Backstreets Back) ) as well as "Larger then Life", "Shape of my Heart" and "I want it That Way".

It was another perfect night at the Ampitheatre and a great night of nostalgia <3
