The Incredible and Talented Kat Von D

She is one of the most well known Tattoo Artists in the business, and also one of the nicest people I have ever met. 
Back in November Kat Von D released her second book " The Tattoo Chronicles" and headed out on a north american book tour. I have met Kat once before, when she was in town to promote her first book "High Voltage Tattoo". 

"The Tattoo Chronicles is an illustrated diary that offers an intimate look at a crucial year in the personal and professional life of Kat Von D, the charismatic, no-holds-barred tattooer and star of LA Ink."

I made sure to make it to Chapters nice and early to purchase my copy of the book and get in line. I actually sat and read the whole book, from cover to cover while waiting in line. This book is actually fantastic. It is so honest and gives such an outlook into Kat and her life and the show.  I loved the photos as well. All the photos in the book were taken by Kat. I loved reading about her relationship with Nikki Sixx. I personally have a HUGE crush on that man so I am a TAD jealous of Kat and her Relationship with him.

Right before Kat was set to come to Canada (Vancover and Toronto), there was a terrible accident and her beautiful home in LA was lost in a fire, in the house at the time was her kitty Valentine. I personally think that for her to continue on the book tour just showed how strong of a woman she really is. Meeting her and talking to her you can really see that she values every single one of her fans. Chapters also did something Nice for Kat. They sent around books and markers for everyone in line could be able to write personal messages for Kat. She was always tweeting about how she was reading these books.!!!  Seeing her again was great, I was 15th in line (out of at least 400) and she was smiling and gave me a huge hug and thanked me for coming. I love that she is so personable and down to earth. The fact that she can stand there in those heels for so long is a mystery to me! 

Kat also brought her friend, "Rooftop" out with her on his tour.. and dammnnn. I was a fan of him through his appearances on the show.. but he is CUTEEEEEEE
