REAL TIME.

Once in a while you come across a movie that makes you think.

This past weekend my boyfriend and I headed over to the local dvd rental place with our 3 dollars in change to find something to occupy our saturday night. The boy picked this movie off the shelf in the "comedy" section. 

"REAL TIME- Today Could Be

 The Last Day of the Rest Of Your Life"

sounds funny enough right? 

Its the story of a compulsive gambler who is given an hour to live from the hitman that is hired to kill him. The Movie was shot in real time, which I actually really thought was rad. it was filmed in 2008 and was a feature selection for the Toronto Film Festival

in the opening of the movie, we realized that the movie was actually shot in Hamilton, and they actually make reference to that. Its pretty awesome being from Hamilton to see a movie that doesn't change the city in any way and to see things you find familiar.  One part of it was actually shot near my house, beside where my mom works.. and later I found out that she actually knew about it, AND never mentioned it to me that she MET JAY BARUCHEL. Yes, I am Jealous. 

I don't really want to give away what happens, but instead.. I am gonna recommend if you are looking for a good, unexpected movie to watch.. check out REAL TIME. ..it will make you think.
