The Only Girl In The World.

She may be younger then me, but when a fire- red haired Rihanna took the stage last week at the Air Canada Centre, she showed a maturity and sexuality beyond her years.

Opening acts J Cole and the insanely talented BoB opened the show and their energy set the tone for the whole show. BoB is one of those artists who is so multi-talented. He played multiple instruments and I have never seen an artist with such a big smile on his face the whole time.

It was the 2nd of two sold out shows in Toronto for her LOUD Tour and the crowd was electric. I have seen Rihanna once before, a few years ago as an opening act for Kanye West, and I was excited to see what she would bring to the stage for a headlining tour. Needless to say, I was beyond blown away.

From the moment Rihanna took the stage she had the whole venue under her spell... Dressed in a bright blue jacket, hot pink shoes and her red hair going in every direction, it was clear that Rihanna was the star. The two hour set included about 6 costume changes, whips, chains, her grinding on a car, grinding on woman, grinding on a very lucky audience member, running though the crowd more then once, playing the drums and more.

Rihanna is hot, and she knows it. The show was defiantly geared to her older fans, as the overtly sexual antics had parents red with embarrassment. There was actually a father with 4 boys no older then 11 sitting behind me, and he had them leave half way though S&M and I never saw them again.

There was a great mix of both Old and New songs, Including Shut Up and Drive, Disturbia, Rude Boy, Califorina King Bed and ending with her biggest hit Umbrella.

The highlight and surprise (but not to big surprise of the show) happened just over halfway though when Torontos own DRAKE took centre stage, sang his sit song "Over" then joined Rihanna onstage for their sit song "Whats my name"

As an avid concert go-er, I find it gets hard for an artist to keep my attention for a whole show, but Rihanna did just that. From the beginning to end the Barbados native had me entertained. Her voice was fantastic and her stage show was excellent. If you are a fan of Rihanna, or even just a fan of a good show, she is one lady I would Highly Recommend you see live.
