#ARTRave Toronto KILLS IT

When it comes to Lady Gaga, I really don't know where to start. I have been a fan of hers since "Just Dance", I saw her perform at Circa nightclub in Toronto so long ago, and she only sang like 4 songs and I knew that she was going to be huge. I have been lucky enough to meet Mother Monster (as she is referred to from her fans) twice, and both times she has honestly been one of the nicest celebrities I have ever met. She is kind, and gracious, and she knows that the reason she is here, is for her fans, and she lives for them. Lady Gaga is the same age as me, but when I see her perform, I totally forget that. I was so excited when I managed to score an amazing seat to the ART RAVE tour when it came through Toronto last week.  If you know Gaga, you know that she is larger then life, and she for sure is with this show. Her stage is legit the coolest stage ever. See-Thru and high above the heads of her fans on the floor, people could walk under and around it, making it super interactive for her fans.  There was a full service bar set up by her piano, where lucky fans could get so close to her while she performed.  Her new album ArtPop hasn't done as well as her previous albums, and even I will admit that I don't own it, and was hearing some of the songs for the first time during this show, but I thought they were awesome. It was a different direction I think, way more dancey maybe? I don't know how to explain it, but for the show she was going for (edgey, fun, wild), her new album made the perfect sound track to it. There were so many insane costumes, and dances and hair styles that it was hard to know where she was going to go next. I am pretty sure the confetti shot out at least 9 times ! She also somehow managed to make the show feel personal, bringing up fans to sing with her during Born This Way, and talking to the crowd about her own anxiety issues. I feel like people forget that she is also a person, and they see her more as a character. I left the show on a serious high, as it was one of the most visually stimulating shows I have seeen in a LONG time, and yes, she sang live, and she killed it !!!  Check out some of the photos from the ARTRAVE TORONTO!
