What do you get when you mix a millionares backyard with an ice cream truck, an open bar, candy, a jump and bounce, photo booths, walburgers, gorilla cheese and some of the biggest bands in the country?
You get WEKFEST. An all day, massive backyard party, hosted by Dragons Den Dragon Michael Wekerle where the money raised goes to support the Seeds of Hope.. a summer day camp for youth in Toronto. When I found out about this insanely awesome event, I had to be there!
It was one of the best days of my entire summer. I had my best friend. bands such as USS, Sloan and Our Lady Peace, playing in a backyard ! Unlimited drinks, food and ice cream truck ice cream !
