Mean Tangerine in Brantford.

Mean Tangerine is a 4 peice ska/punk/rock band from London Ontario. A month or so ago I saw these guys on Disband on Much Music. All I remember thinking was that they reminded me of another Ontario band called the Johnstones, and that the Lead Singer looked like Ryan Long. I will admit that as a Fan of The Johnstones, I was attacted to this band, since they play songs that are as catchy as hell.. and hey.. their lead singer is pretty damn cute.

ANYWWHOOO.. I was a tad pumped when I found out they would be opening for Down With Webster, as I would get to see them and make up my own mind! 

I showed up and the venue was packed! I made my way up to the front, well as close as I could.. Mean Tangerine has some killer energy as a band. They seriously know how to make the girls scream! The lead singer was bouncin around the stage, totally shirtless..which was nice, as we all know I am a sucker for pretty boys with tattoos and no shirts!

Musical wise.. They are pretty good. I mean, I wasn't totally blown away, but they are defiinatly good at what they do! They are the type of band that I would totally go see with my girls for a fun night out!
