WHAM BAM 2010

This past Saturday night was Kiss 92.5 FMs big WHAM BAM concert at the Molson Canadian Ampitheatre in Toronto. The Amp is my favourite place to go see live music and to me, seeing a show at the Amp means the offical start to summer.

I made it down to the show just in time to catch Karl Wolf's performance. I had been wanting to see him perform for a while, as I have now interviewed the dude twice with scerina, and had gotten a dance lesson from him! It was nice to see him in something other then dark clothes!  I didn't get to watch his whole performace as I was on the hunt for Mr. Lambert.. but overall I thought that he put on a great show!

Next up was Orianthi. I am a fan of that one song that is always on the radio, so I was interested to see what else she could do!   I thought she was fanastic. She was dressed up like a school boy (aka Angus from AC/DC styles) with her hair in pigtails. She was adorable!!!  She kinda reminds me of Avril Lavigne with her catchy pop songs! But I loved it! It was perfect summer day music and I ended up getting hit in the foot with one of her guitar pics.

Danny Fernandes was next up on the stage. Danny is adorable and has some freaken awesome dancers! I totally wish everyone was wearing less clothing, considering its summer and Danny is known for having an amazing body. Overall he was decent, I love the song "Fantasy" so I am happy I got to hear it live!!

Kardinal Official was the last to hit the Wham Bam stage before Adam Lambert.   At first I didn't know why they would put him before Adam, but after he started I understood. Kardi did a great job of getting the crowd up on their feet and dancing!  I have always been a fan of him and I thought that he KILLLLLED it! I had a blast watching him perform and I cannot wait to see him again!

  1. Thanks for posting these pics and update - you had a much better spot at the concert than I did!

  2. Orianthi puts on such a pop front, but god damn. Check out her guitar videos with Steve Vai.
