When the time came to announce the line up for this years show, I was impressed! With my Boys Hedley headlining the event AND it happening so close to my Birthday.. there was pretty much no way I was going to miss it. This time around I opted not to apply for a Media Pass, as I just wanted to be able to enjoy a day at Wonderland with my sis and friends then enjoy the concert later in the afternoon.
The day finally came, and even though my sis and I got to Wonderland at about 9:15am, the Line for SUMMER RUSH was already INSANE. 3000 floor access wristbands long gone, and people starting a line up that weaved its way though the park. I wasn't complaining ,as I was looking forward to enjoying a day of Rides, and having all those dedicated fans in line, kept them out of the lines for the rides!
We headed over to the Theatre just in time to see Blake McGrath perform. Man.. that dude is SEXYYYYY. You may know him from being a Judge/Choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance Canada, and man, did he use his dancing skills to wow that crowd! I know he had been very excited for his 1st live performance, and compete with dancers, Blake KILLED IT. I had a blast watching him perform and I wish him the best of luck with the Transitiion from Dance Star to Singing star!
After Blake, and a quick power nap.. we were back in the Theatre and pumped for Faber Drive to hit the stage! I have seen Faber play many times, so I am not gonna say much, other then the old dude dancing his butt off infront of me was awesome.
Up next was Jay Sean, who I was pretty pumped to see! I had NO idea he was British!! haha. He did a great job of getting the crowd pumped and I was excited to hear him sing his bit hit 'Do You Remember'. Overall I thought he was Great and I would Totally see him again!

It was almost dark by the time the LMFAO boys hit the stage. and they Brought it! hands down the best and most entertaining performance of the entire evening. I was on my feet and dancing the whole time! It was awesome when they had the whole crowd fist pumping and chanting and just Whooot!
B.O.B was up next. He was another person that I was so excited for, as he has pretty much had the hit of the summer with "Airplanes" and "Nothin on You".. I thought he did a pretty good job! He wasn't the best performance of the evening, although it was pretty awesome to hear"Airplanes"
Ending off the night of great music was my Hedley Boys.. I write about Hedley pretty much all the time.. So all I am gonna say it that it was the perfect way to end a perfect night and a perfect birthday week!
