Make Up Wearing Boys are my Weakness.

I knew nothing of the Black Veil Brides until Tuesday when I walked past their booth at the Vans Warped Tour in Buffalo and saw some young, good looking, make-up wearing boys surrounded by security. You would think that "Brides" would mean a girl group, but in the case of these young dudes from Hollywood, these Brides are out to prove they have a place in today's music scene. Andy, Ashley, Jinxx, Jake and CC almost didn't make it onto this years tour, as just a week before, the bands lead singer fell 20 feet off a pillar during their CD Release performance  breaking 3 ribs and puncturing a lung.

I knew that I had to see them play when Warped came to Arrow Hall on Friday. Used to playing on Metal Tours, it was clear that The Black Veil Brides are fish out of water on a Punk Rock Tour. They did have their share of fans, pressed up against the barricade, faces painted like their favourite band member, shrieking whenever they say one of them peek out from backstage. When they finally took the stage, I was shocked at the voice that came out of the lead singer Andy. This deep voice that was so smooth, mixed with insane guitar playing. These Glam Rockers know what good music is, and they know how to make it.

Black Veil Brides just released their sophomore album "Set The World on Fire" on June 14th and will be playing the Advent stage throughout the VansWarpedTour.
