I had heard about Crystalyne before, and I knew that they had been growing in popularity and I had heard their song "Punk's Don't Dance" on 99.9 Virgin Radio. The first few songs of their set at Scene, they informed the crowd that they would be filming for their music video. They were fun, energetic, and nothing says summer music festival like a ton of beach balls bouncing in the crowd. They kinda remind me of paramore, with that good mix of pop and rock and fun, with a seriously adorable and talented female lead singer Marissa ! If you missed the show, they will be playing with Cody Simpson at the Molson Ampitheatre in August as part of Family Channel's Big Ticket Summer Concert, so get out and check them out there, and to hold you over until then... check out some photos from their set at Scene !
