My favourite performance of the first day of WTFest hands down went to The Trews. You always forget how much you enjoy a band when you haven't seen them live for a while, but then they get onstage, play a song and you go back to that moment when you fell inlove with them that first time you saw them onstage. That happened to me. These guys, man they are good. Hands down they are one of the best Canadian Rock bands out there and they totally proved that on Saturday night in Brantford. I felt like I was just hearing Hit after Hit after Hit and the crowd was loving it. They had the attention of every single person in that park, and I overheard so many conversations saying they stole the show. These guys will be hitting up Gage Park in a few weeks, so seriously, go and check them out if you haven't, or have and know you need to see them again!!!
