Brantford Lions Park was the place to be this weekend for the inaugural WTFest, or WHAT THE FESTIVAL. There was a lot of skeptics, me included, wondering if this festival was actually going to happen, due to circumstances around a similar festival in Brantford a few years back, but I was excited. Saturday ended up being a perfect day, hot and sunny and the crowd was ready to rock. I have seen I Mother Earth before, and while I will always have a spot in my heart for Edwin. Lead Singer Brian Byrne seriously kills it on stage. SO much energy and he had the crowd eating out of his hand. He jumped right down and got up close and personal with some of his fans, and you could tell both him and the crowd were loving every second of the performance! For me, its all about the old tunes from back in the day. Their performance was killer and it for me, the perfect way to start off the weekend at WTFest !
