#SublimeSummer

This was one summer show that I was insanely pumped for !! With a backdrop of the CN Tower, a perfect August day.. and Bands such as KO, IllScarlett, Pepper, The Wailers and Sublime w/Rome.. do nights really get any better then that?  The answer is no, no they do not!

After a long full day at work, me and a friend of mine booted it to Toronto to try to make it in time to see my secret husband KO take the stage.... who knew that it would take over an hour to find parking, then that would lead to me hoping out of the car and yelling at a parking attendant... well it took that.. and we finally made it onto the venue grounds just after my boy started performing. We were late, but that didn't stop me from dancing right away !!!

After KO, was of course, my boys.. IllScarlett. Honeslty, there is nothing in the world better then hot summer days, beer and the sweet sweet sounds of IllScarlett. Not only was it a perfect day, they played a ton of their new songs, including a duet with KO anddddd they did my new favourite cover of theirs, Green Day. I was in love, as always, and really why am I writing about them, cuz my opinion is always that they were amazing.

I had never seen Pepper before, and I was seriously impressed.. then again, I am easy impressed when I see hot shirtless tattooed men singing  They were fanastic, they had everyone dancing and I LOVED them. I am now a Pepper fan for life !!

The sun was going down as The Wailers took the stage.. the vibes at Fort York were chill and everyone spent the whole set dancing, drinking, blazing and having such a good time. Nothing beats Bob Marley tunes on a perfect August night.

Finally it was time for Sublime w/Rome to take the stage. Having seen them play last year at Hockeyfest and loving their set, this time I must say I was pretty disappointed.  I felt like Romes voice was off and it felt more like the Rome show then Sublime with Rome... I don't know, the crowd didn't seem as into it as the last time I saw them, and in turn, I ended up leaving early. Overall, it was a good night fillled with tons of music, but I don't know if I will go and see Sublime w/ Rome perform again.
