What can I say about these insanely talented gentleman that I haven't already said in previous entries. I had known about the "secret' guests for the Coalition music showcase for weeks and saying I was seriously stoked was an understatement. I actually left Fanfest early and jumped in a cab to speed back down to the Rivoli in time to make it to see USS take the stage. By the time I made it there, the club was at capacity and I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes but I made it in just as Jeremy Taggert from Our Lady Peace was introducing the band. It was late, but with a beer in my hand, standing up on the couches, with my girls, I was so ready to dance ! and Dance we did !! I will say, that in the past year, no band has made me feel the way these guys do when they perform. They have an energy and a passion when they play that is unmatched in this country, and their music is SO FREAKEN GOOD. I was sweaty and my hair was beyond a mess when it came down to the final encore. The second the guys launched into a cover of "Hey Yah!" the whole venue went beyond insane. Thats when Human Kebab (Jay Parsons) grabbed me and my ladies, pulled us onstage and we ended the night in a total dance party on the stage. That was hands down the best ending to a show during all of Canadian Music Week, and by far the most fun I had during that whole week. So thanks USS, for making even more great Canadian Music Week memories. Your amazing, and I love you. <3 p="">
