That moment when you hear a song, or see that band you love, and in that moment, nothing else matters
Our Lady Peace Bring on the Rain
By the time Our Lady Peace took the stage on Saturday night the rain had started coming down. I had already been lucky enough to see Our Lady Peace once this year when they performed at Massey Hall and I was so pumped to be able to see them and photograph them again.
They have always been one of my favorite bands. and for the second time this year they did not let me down.
Raine as always is seriously amazing when it comes to interacting with the crowd. Even in the pouring rain he jumped off the stage and walked down the centre of the barricades and climbed up and sang with the crowd.
I had been dreading the rain all day, but at that moment, standing in the middle of that crowd with my best friend, rain pouring down on us and Raine singing his heart out in the middle of the crowd. The moment was seriously perfect.
The guys played for over an hour, and sang everyone of their hits; which I loved. I was standing on the 19+ side of the crowd and everywhere I looked every single person was singing along to the songs. I loved that.
Overall, Brantford Hockeyfest was a success and the rain didn't dampen anyones spirits! Thanks to Ralph for putting the show together and letting me cover it!!! Can't wait till next year
